i'm gonna be honest i LOVE the topsecret **** for the G35.. i'm all evo buti gotta say you dont' see that many well done G35's around so i think just for that reason its more why i like you option 3
I work in a tireshop and i drove a top of the line g35, I dont know what kinda of leather package he had but they were hands down the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. And u cant say that the g35 has no go, its not quite as much as an evo but i think its a good mix of speed and comfort. I would kill for a g35 twin turbo or supercharge. In my opinion thats the way to go
lol

Both the G and the Z could benifit from the body kits .... try adding a single front mount intercooler on a stock G35c bumper..... not too good for air flow.
Let me give some backup information. I've seen two 'turbocharged' cars change over to a superchargers. The first, an Integra GSR, and second an FD RX-7. The Integra was built with turbocharging in mind, but as parts started to arrive and the block get done, my buddy decided to go with a little Eaton SC. Yeah, his B18C5 Hondriod motor with a balance and valvetrain upgrade revs. to 10k+ rpm, but with the supercharger installed (plus an LSD, and upgraded tranny) he pushes 12psi of boost from 1.5k rpm all the way to about 7.5k rpm! I'm sorry but this little rocket 'does' beat my EVO! The RX-7 was the same way ... he'd normally have to 'wait' to spool his turbo at about 3.5k, but with a twinscrew his boost comes on at a little lower than 2k and lasts all the way to his set redline at 8k. The EVO really 'grew up' on a turbo, so I don't think supercharging an EVO would be 'necessary.'
For me, if I was in your situation (jealous me
) I would 'really' look into complimenting the 350Z motor (engine code VQ35 I think) with a stout Twinscrew supercharger. It would accomodate the powerband, I think better, and allow a little more consistent boost considering the VQ35's compression ratio. Now on the 'show' car issue. Yes, I think 19" wheels are ... showy also. The tire is the piece of equipment that does business with the road from accel, to deaccel, to cornering, to clearing potholes. My idea of a 'neat' rim is 1.) weight 2.) allows the 'best' tire for the dollar to be mounted and only then it has the potential of looking 'kewl.' Its just my opinion. I note that I do see at LOT of 350Zs with 19" on them and then proceed to smoke every one of them up a canyon because a 19" wheel combo really is hard to find something that 'tracks' well up a on a road. Look, for instance, at what a lot of the road racers put on their track cars. For the EVO, its a split between 17s and 18s. For a 350Z I would really consider an 18 as the 'sweet' spot. Again, personal opinion, take this with a grain of salt.
Whatever you do, enjoy it! You really can't go wrong with any cars you've decided on.
Enjoy,
jcnel.

I agree with most all of you guys on your coments. I think any of the 2 combos whould be sweet set ups and eaither way they would get mad looks and be a kick in the *** to drive. I just wish someone like c-west or someone else came out with a clean *** kit for the G ... The Top Sec. is tight but I still dont think its as clean as I want from a kit.
Here take a look at it and see what I mean:
http://www.topsecretjpn.com/products/v35.htm
look at the silver G .... I think it looks actually kind of crapy .... but that could be due to a ****y pic.
No one has really commented on the Z option ..... If I was to eliminate the G as an option would you guys consider the Z over the EVO ?????
My Set up would look like this:

With This Body Kit:
http://www.motorex.net/forsberg.html
Still with the GReddy TT kit + Sparco Seats.
See the 350Z is the cheapest way to go as I can get a base Z for almost 25K, plus the car is lighter, and is supose to have a tad bit better handling
So Confused

Good point ... I'm quite naive when it comes to VQ supercharger setups. Perhaps I should do a twin screw design with an intercooler for you?
I've just seen on torquey N/A motor conversions a lot more consistent HP pulled out on a twin screw.
It sounds like you've put a lot of design thought into each scenario. I don't think you'll be unpleased with whatever you get.
BTW ... have you considered doing an EVO with a WB Kit on it?
jcnel.
P.S. Oh! the screw I'm talking about is not an Whipple based, or Eaton based design...Its a "Twin Screw" ...
http://www.kennebell.net/techinfo/ge...romcatalog.pdf
P.P.S I just read how Stillen is using an Eaton type supercharger for their 350Z. This is NOT the same as the Twin-Screw Ken Bell is talking about. An Eaton is a 'twist' in the old Whipple design. These are NOT the same superchargers. Yeah, I can see how the Stillen design is not 'better' than the TT design. Sounds like you need a Ken Bell solution.

IFI had a good amount of money id go for the g35 over the 350 hands down. Now as for the evo, you really don't see that many evos around so you'll get a good amount of looks either way the g35 is so fresh and clean though! But if you want performance and good looks with a bias for performance go with the evo, if you want good looks and performance with a bias to looks go for the g35.
