Too much?

I have been looking at evo's for the past couple months, ever since CNN posted that evos are "highest resale sedans in the us", which is total bs btw, they totally raised in price. I went from looking at tarmac black 03's with under 20k for 23 grand and under, and now they are all 25k and above. I know buying my evo used is a risk to begin with, but for the price they are going for now is crazy. I have seen on ebay evos with under 25k go for 19 grand, which i understand is cheap, but i can only afford to buy this car and maintain for around the 22k mark, does anyone know if by november the prices will drop again due to the 05 models? pm me if anyone has any stock ( never modded, not that modded cars and take the parts off for selling like they were never there BS) for sale around that price. thanks!!

Evo's may not be the highest resale sedan in the US but they do hold their value really well I put 5k down on mine and have never been upsidedown in it according to kelly blue book trade in value (which is lowest number listed) If you passed up a 19k evo then that sucks for you cause chances are your not ganna find another one for a while (unless it has damage or is some way messedup or 50k miles)

From what I have seen around here (evom) and in my local area (OR) Used Evo's with 15k-25k miles are selling around 23-25 grand best price I have seen lately is 22,500. At the dealers USED they are selling for 26-28

And the price may drop a tiny bit once the 05's hit but I wouldn't expect any huge drop in price seeing as how this car is as amazing as it is and in such high demand... Most mitsu dealers around here can't seem to keep them in stock.

Checked autotrader? I live in FL and if you are willing to drive down here I believe there are about 3-5 03 EVO's with under 1200 miles on em for about 24-27k. They're located in Orlando and Miami I think.

Thanks for the replys guys! I am defintly going evo no mater what. Ive had my heart since Grand tourismo came out. I am hoping that in november, the 05's sales will have an effect on the price somewhat. I have been all over ebay, autotrader, shopper, yahoo, the whole works, and it seems that the prices are very inconsistant. One week there will be 5 evos under 20k selling for 22 or 23, and the next week there will be simular mileage cars selling for around 26. If i end up having to buy a higher priced evo, i won't have any money for TB and ems!!

Then save your money and wait ... or get a credit card and go into more debt you can't pay off to buy mods. If you've wanted an Evo since GT, then what's another couple months of waiting? Especially once winter sales and 04 clearances come around.

BTW, as long as there's inflation, the prices won't drop.
