I'm getting the rota torques, I was wondering what are the benefits like better traction/turn better somehow, etc.? Thanks for the replies.

slight improvement in acceleration, braking, responsiveness... surprisingly gas mileage is slightly lowered because of less inertia (someone correct me on that if im wrong)

Less unsprung weight (better for suspension / handling), less rotational inertia (more torque goes to the ground).

How would the gas milege decrease? Wouldn't the lower unsprung weight actually increase or keep the gas mileage the same?

Unsprung weight (rotational mass) works just like a centerfuge. The lighter the wheel, the less energy it takes to spin it. The difference between a 22 lb wheel and an 18 lb one will be very negligable. You may drop a foot or two off your 60-0 times and and gain a few hundredths on acceleration.
