Yes, you can take apart the BOV, but you'll need to remove and reapply the hondabond to get the same sealing effect each time you reassemble it. As far as the grease, I pretty much add an ample supply in the spring and cylinder area to make sure it's sufficiently lubricated. Don't want my BOV raw doggin' it.
