Buying Old Evo's Imported (Australia)

Hey guys i am currently looking at an evo 5 located in sydney. It has very low kilometres on it for a car as old as it is (67,000km's over 11 years). Does this sound right for a japanese car? Or is it quite possible that it has had the kilometres back.

On a side note, how many km's can an evo generally sustain before it falls apart?

There's not really a certain mileage where it's going to "fall apart". As long as it's properly maintained, it should go as long as you want it to. May go through a couple motors, etc. It won't just fall apart though. Keep up on maintenence like oil changes, timing and cooling components, hoses, wear and tear parts, etc. Eventually a motor will get worn out, so if you're worried about it, get it freshened up with new rods/pistons/bearings, and it should be good to go for a long time.

Evo,s from Japan usually have lower use. I doubt you could find a Evo with the kind of miles owners in America drive. Falls apart man how could you be a Evo fan talking like that. Go buy a Sti if you worried about hard driving.......
