o2 sim vs mechanical cell fix

I'm lookin to get my check engine light off. i need eather a 02 sim or mechanical cell fix (mcf). what are the pros and cons of eather one. and where can i pic one up other than e-bay. and please don't say here i've searched and can't seem to find one. links would be nice. thanks for your help

An o2 sim is built right into Tephra's free ECU mods that are quite simple to flash onto your ECU. Check out the ECUFlash section for more info. Otherwise the mechanical non-foulers are cheap and work perfectly.

my ecu is flash tuned by 5250 tuning if that makes a difference

Not at all. Just copy all your maps onto one of Tephra's templates or ask your tuner to do it for you Any even semi-competent Evo tuner should know how to do this and in my personal opinion recommend it to all their customers.

i went to autozone and got 2 nonfoulers drilled the first one out so my o2 fit nice a snug in it and left the other one alone, put it all together stuck it in and had 0 problems for over a year and half now, havent gotten any check engine light

If you drill the first one small enough, you don't even need the 2nd one.

so if i go with the mechanical cel fix route. i only need one that i put in the rear o2 spot. Right?
