Greeting from Southern California
Hello from The Valley here is Southern California.
I just traded in my '09 WRX for a slightly used, graphite gray, 2010 Evo GSR (6k miles), and wanted to make my introductions.
I bought the car from Galpin Mazda in Van Nuys for $28,999 (before taxes and fees). Apparently, the guy that owned it before me had leased it for 9 months before trading it in for a Jaguar there at the Galpin dealership. There was some evidence the previous owner had installed an intake, but had replaced it with the stock box before trading it in. I couldn't see any other evidence of modifications done to the engine, and in testing everything ran perfectly (reducing the concern that he had raced the crap out of it).
The car is sitting on 18" Works Emotion XT-7 rims (bronze). It's been debadged except for the Evolution badge. I'm planning on blacking out the Mitsu badge on the front end this weekend.
I've talked to Eric over at Darkside here in The Valley, and have already started pricing out all the upgrades I'll be doing. I'm really excited to be joining the Mitsu community. Thanks to this site, I'm sure I'll find all the help and advice I need.
