Need a new motor but am stuck on what to do and hope for some help. I drag race so everyone tell me to go for the 2.0 but its a bit more money then the 2.1 so what would u reccomend to do? Is the 2.1 really not as good for drag racing? its much cheaper and i dont want to break the bank. My current motor has a spun bearing so i dont know if i could send that for a discount cause if not its a lot more money if im still recomended to go for a 2.0. well any info is great and thanks

a response here or a pm will be great

The crank is likely toast but its possible the block is reusable, do you intend to tear it down on your own or perhaps you would like to send it our way? In regards to the 2.1L it uses the same 88mm stroke but with longer 156mm rods to take advantage of the additional 6mm deck height of the 4g64 block, I don't think you can go wrong either way
