hey each have their own reason for existing. An Exedy twin makes sense for say a track day road course car... this car is high into RPM's a lot and needs to shift quickly... but this car isn't making a lot of power. The Exedy twins engage smoothly and are resistant to high RPM lock out, BUT they aren't made to handle a whole ton of power. Depending on the pressure plate, you can expect 350-450 ft lbs of torque (this is really a rough hip shot)... the Quartermaster twin is a different animal altogether... you still get quick shifts... but these clutches take a LOT of power... engagement is better with their 8 leg kits (not so much due to the "legs" but because all 8 legs are gear driven which locates the friction discs on a centrally located splined hub where the discs can ride, engage more smoothly and wear further)... combine the included hydraulic release bearing and you have a very good, high HP/TQ clutch. It doesn't engage quite as smoothly as the Exedy which is why the Exedy hasn't just disappeared into history. NOW some ask if the Exedy triple makes sense... I would argue no... for the cost, you still barely get to Quartermaster holding capability and you LOSE the Exedy smooth engagement of the twin disc.
But to answer your original question: Yes. All service parts are readily available and typically stocked, here. The frictions, intermediate steel and "pressure plate" more commonly referred to as the first steel are the parts most commonly needed to perform a rebuild and, quite frankly, the cost is perfectly respectable, sir!
