Boomba Motor Mounts and Manifold Gasket For Evo X
Boomba Racing introduces our latest products - Motor Mounts and Manifold Gasket.
Boomba Motor Mounts are designed to gain better traction and improve acceleration. They are machined of lightweight, aircraft quality aluminum with solid polyurethane bushings. The polyurethane hardness is carefully chosen so the engine mounts do not transfer any excessive vibrations to the body but give you very solid feeling during acceleration. The motor mounts are direct replacement of the factory units but weigh 50% less.
Boomba Manifold gasket is a special high temperature insulating gasket which replaces stock intake gasket. Turbocharged cars use aluminum intercoolers to cool the air compressed by the turbocharger. Colder air has lesser volume, which means that more air (and oxygen) can be fed to the cylinders. Intake manifold is also made of aluminum. It is mounted to the head and absorbs heat generated during combustion. Forcing air thru hot intake manifold reverses benefits of intercooler. Insulating gasket separates head and manifold significantly reducing heat transfer. During average driving conditions temperature drop of minimum 50 F can be achieved. That transfers into 5-10% power increase.
