Reflective Gold Heat Barrier Foil

Fortune Auto has sourced a thermal barrier from a
local aerospace manufacturer. Our sourced foil is
actually made of 22k gold. capable of reflecting 78%
of all radiant heat with continuous operating temperatures
of 450 degrees centigrade. The material is metalized
polyamide polymer laminated glass cloth with a high
temperature pressure sensitive adhesive.

Typical applications include but are not limited to,
intercooler pipes, intercoolers, intakes, airboxes,
engine covers, coilovers, under trays/floors, seat bottoms,
fire walls and bulkheads. The minimum air gap to heat source
is just 1mm!

The UICP that we wrapped on the X was about 2 feet.
You could use it on the rear heat shield on the fire wall. It has a very sticky self adhesive....its almost like gold duct tape lol

No you have to cut it into strips. You can use big strips in the straight sections and smaller strips in the bends

haha my bad, I mean just one time all the way around! I knew it would have to be custom cut to the pieces im putting it on, but one full wrap around is good right? Would it stick to my ICP with the black material on it? Also if removing will it leave any residue? does it fade?

Yes it will wrap one full time around easily! Is your UICP painted or crinkle coat?
If its crinkle it will stick but not as well.

It will leave residue similar to duct tape if you remove it and no it will not fade!

Yeah thats crinkle...not ideal for this application. It could work but I could not guarantee it to stick for a long time as I do not have experience with that finish
