KEY!S RACING FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Better vehicle feedback. Maximum grip. Quality leather.

You will have seen these products in use throughout the Japanese racing fraternity. The reason why they are popular is because they were developed by race drivers for race drivers. Takayuki Kino****a developed this business from his fantastic racing career. The products are among the best available and are found in Super GT, D1 and are used at the LeMans 24hr race.

The KEY!S Racing steering wheels are second to none and are used in Super Taikyu, Super GT and D1 in Japan. Developed in conjunction with ATC in Italy, they are finished in two types of leather and are primarily designed to reduce fatigue over long distance driving and racing resulting in a thicker design.

UNIQUE DESIGN:
One of the main features is the "KEY!S RACING" 3D white and blue logo that is embroidered onto the top of each wheel and differs slightly for each model year. Not only does it look great, but provides a visual centering guide. It has a slightly higher raised effect on the smooth type leather wheels.

QUALITY FABRICS:
The Buck skin leather wheel is the true racing type and provides the maximum amount of grip when used with racing gloves. Its rough surface gives ultimate control and allows for accurate steering input.

Smooth Surface leather is also available for those who want a more street focused steering wheel. That looks more attractive, while still offering good steering feel and steering wheel grip.

STYLISH DESIGNS:
Flat Type:

The FLAT TYPE steering wheel is the shallowest of the KEY!S range. It has a 20mm dish effect. It is popular with drivers who like to operate the vehicle with their palm. The wheel also has extra width in the finger grip area for increased comfort.

Deep Type:

The DEEP TYPE steering wheel is the deepest of the KEY!S range. It has an 80mm dish effect, so its perfect for redesigned race interiors or for drivers who prefer to be situated further back in their vehicle. It is also a populay Drift and Rally wheel as there are no raised finger sections, therefore consitent grip is maintained all around the wheel. This is useful when fast, large steering position changes are required from lock to lock.

D-Shape Type:

The D SHAPE TYPE steering wheel is unique in the KEY!S range. It has a flat bottom effect reflecting Formula 1 design and thus gives the premium look to the wheel. It is also good for those who wish to have easy vehicle access or require more room around the leg area. The wheel is dished 50mm, similar to the semi cone design which places the wheel closer to the driver. It also has a much thicker spoke section for increased comfort and feel, making it the supreme top level wheel from KEY!S.

Semicone Type:

The SEMI CONE type steering wheel is the middle depth model of the KEY!S range. It has a 50mm dish effect placing empasis on driving position where the wheel is closer to the driver or the seating position has been changed. It is popular with drivers who like to operate the vehicle with their palm and the wheel also has extra width in the finger grip area for increased comfort.

ACCESSORIES AND COMPATIBILITIES:
A KEY!S racing division horn button is included with each steering wheel. The KEY!S Racing steering wheels use a Nardi compatible steering boss also available in store. Like all steering wheels, they are a bolt on fitment, however please take care when installing steering wheels to vehicle fitted with airbag technology.

Please check the related items for other keys steering wheels, bosses and other matching KEY!S items.

Hello,
a quote for Deep Type 350mm and the necessary accessories w/o the removable quick release. It will be a permanent install. So, these wheels have horn buttons?

In addition to the 80mm extension from the wheel design, is there other extensions to account for?
Reason for this for me is to address the discomfort from the lack of telescopic extension of the stock X wheels.

So, I'm assuming I'll gain 80 mm of extension from the stock steering position...

Also, how thick are these wheels in comparison to X stocks? thx
