ETS 3" I/C install help needed

Help! I'm in the middle of the install and can't bolt the bumper back in with the 2 bolts located in the middle of the bumper. The end tanks are spaced so wide that they are pushing the bracket attached to the bumper away from the bumper beam brackets. The bolts are too short to cover the increased span.

I already had a long setback when I realized that it didn't come with the 2 spacers and bolts to attach to the frame. I was able to use the rubber isolation washers from the OE I/C. (if I don't space out the I/C, all the lines hit the back of the I/C Some are still touching even with the spacer.)

Those with the IX, how did you bolt up the bumper to the bumper bracket? Please don't tell me that longer bolts are supposed to come with this kit. Mine didn't come with couplers or T-bolts and the ends came a bit crushed. I didn't know about the spacers until today, looking for other install pics.

If you don't mind waiting, give them a call about the t clamps and couplers. I had the same thing happen to me and they sent them in 2 days

I noticed the missing clamps and couplers right away when I first received the I/C. It wasn't until I started the install yesterday when I realized that there were also missing bolts and spacers.

I had to put back on the stock I/C after it became obvious that the front bumper facia brackets where touching the end tanks and pushing them away from the metal bumper support brackets.

Also, looking at the pictures of the other installs, mine (IX SE) seems to have a L and R shroud just to the inside of the headlights. None of the other install pictures show this shroud. My option is to completely remove it or trim it for the I/C to fit. No biggie, but I was under the impression that nothing needed to be removed or trimmed for this I/C application from the previous reviews.

I still can't figure out how other IX can get those brackets to line up. If I move the I/C closer to the engine by using various thin washers, the A/C lines end up rubbing bad against the backside of the I/C. Is it possible that the end tanks are missed shaped? Has there been a revision to the endtank design?

I think I know what shrouds you are talking about and I definitely had them too. The brackets fit right under them on either side tho

Give us a call and we'll be happy to help If you are missing the bolts/spacers packet then that will make it seem as if nothing fits so if that's the case we'll get those out to you immediately and expedited, of course at no charge. Let us know!

It is the bolts/spacers packet that I'm missing. Won't be able to call until Wed due to work schedule. Thanks for the help.
