I would go with the 54 trim.. because it is a mix between the 50 and 57 trim ( :

That would give you the opportunity to meet your goal!

Good Luck!!! ETS FTW!!!!!!

You are going to need a larger turbo for sure to hit 125mph safely on pump gas, no questions. I would say, just based on what you want to hit mph wise, you'll need at least the 58mm. If you are trying to hit 11's, you could do that on any one of their turbos, just depends on your driving skills.

I got a 57 trim from ETS and I pulled 11.9 at 119 when i was launching like crap. I think with better 60', i could have pulled a 11.6 with a higher trap. But I can be done with the 57 trim for sure.

Are you planning on a mostly straight pump gas EVO or adding a meth kit or occasional race fuel in the future? The 50 trim turbo will offer the best possible powerband (most area under the curve) for pump gas boost levels typically in the 21-24psi range. If the plan is for adding meth or higher octane sooner or later and 26-30psi use, a 57 trim will be most efficient. I run a 58 for a bit more top end than a 57 trim (~30whp) but know that I'm giving up a small amount of overall compressor efficiency to do it. For the best driving EVO, keep the above in mind. If the numbers are your first priority we can easily do that, I just want to be sure that it performs exactly as you're hoping the rest of the time

well i was looking at the 50 trim but i see people doing the same time on a green..
i thought about the 57 trim and then i hear people not making decent power on them ....
i would like a 125 car on pump with not as much lag ..i dont mind running race gas everynow and then... do you think a 50 trim could be this ....or maybe a 30r

With those smaller turbos I think it's important to keep in mind what's reasonable to expect from both. There are of course standouts that push things past theoretical or reliable limits on most given setups so it's just best to plan for what can reasonably be expected and build from there. That said, neither of those is your best bet for trapping 125mph+. Where have you seen 57 trims not making good power? The 57 trim has been around for years and years back into the 1G/2G DSM days and has always been a solid performer, we've just applied it to the EVO You'll need larger than a 50 trim for those traps, but you'll also probably need more boost than straight pump gas without any injection will allow to reach those traps on any turbocharger. There will be compromises, so it's just a matter of sorting your priorities and putting first things first. If you'd like to discuss it in better detail definitely give me a call and we can go over all of the options

Tom

What?!?...........are you kidding me .....so, 400+whp on pump and daily driving is not enough of a good number for ya . Dude put in race gas and you will have a 57 trim turbo blow by 470+whp at a conservative boost and tuning. I know you want to do a pump gas 125 mph trap and it can be done with this 57 trim with good driving and not running chrome 18s like i was when i ran a 11.9 at 119 with sh!tty launch. I dont know who you talked to but you need to talk so someone else. Just my .02.

Go 57 trim! You'll be mid 11's and have the turbo to make some massive power. (unless your goal is 900+)
