Already put an order for 1, 3.5" anodized black, going on a white Evo .... Hopefully Tom will get my new order just in time, and I will post pics installed as soon as I get it..

Thanks guys!! Dmitry will be posting pictures of his intercooler (pictured) installed on his EVO shortly for everyone to check out. I have to agree that the anodizing does look REALLY good

What do you think about the color and attracting the sun will if effect performance ?

if you think about it, the IC is in the shade most of the time and black dissipates heat better (or so I've read) so it should be a win/win in theory.
Cool stuff. I'll be looking at that this summer.

Anodizing, unlike powder coating, has no effect on the cooling properties of the intercooler which basically offers the best of both worlds. The look without any compromise

how well does the coat take towards rock chips and other type of debris? the fmic looks great but I wonder if it can take some DD abuse...
