Thumbs up ETS 3065 kit installed with pics.

What's going everybody...I finally have to time to post and share with ya'll what I've been up to with my Evo lately. After driving my Evo a year with the stock turbo..I decided it was time to stepup up my lag game. As fun as the Evo was with the stock turbo, 22-23 psi, GSC S1 cams I was never satisfied with how it pulled after 6k...it just lost way too much steam for me. So I began to research my turbo options out there..35R,37R,3076,Green, etc...I came across the GT3065 turbo. With it being comparable in numbers and feel to a 35R (until 30+psi...which I don't plan on pushing any time soon) yet having an advantage in the spool department...I was instantly attracted to it. My plan is to keep the stock motor intact, pumping 450-480whp with a moderate 7700k rev limit in place. With the help of an Aquamist HFS-1 kit I'm positive I'll be able to attain my goal safely and reliably
First I have to give ETS a big thanks...I basically only dealt with Tom through phone and PM's through my whole ordering process. The customer service provided is reason enough to go with this team when ordering parts for your Evo. The quality of their parts exceed all standards as well. I ended up ordering their Equal length turbo kit with their precision GT3065, 3.5 DP-back exhaust, all IC piping, mini batt kit, 880cc inj. Everything arrived tightly packed without blemish.
I've been driving the car for the last week on a conservative pump gas tune by the man KevinD...who I'd also like to give a big thanks too His knowledge and service is outstanding as well. With the safe tune on 22psi...I'm really enjoying the Evo now...it lives up to how members have described it before...driving like a civic before 4k..then after that it screams like a bat outta hell. I do have my WG recirced back into the dp..that matched with the 3.5inch exhaust = pure nastiness at WOT...makes me every time. The car has a completely new personality now...one that fits me perfectly. Enough of my jibber jabber..here are the pics!..thanks for reading.

The only change i've made...can be seen in one of the pics...was switching from the ETS intake to the Dejon tools. Only reason I did this was because I did like the 4-3 transitional pipe they used. That's just a bad habit of mine though..replacing something that doesn't need replacing Ah well...next up is dropping in some DC3 catch cans, APS dual vent BOV. Then it's back to KevinD's to have my Cosworth cams installed, HFS-1 kit installed and crank the boost up to 28psi and really have fun

Looks outstanding Jorge! That's an engine bay to be proud of I'm very glad to hear that the car is performing just how you'd hoped as that's always our goal!

Nope...ETS redesigned the manifold so that's not an issue any more. I could wrap it with some wrap for some "bling"..but that just wouldn't be my style
