3" Downpiple Back Exhaust Fitment Question
3" Downpipe Back Exhaust Fitment Question
I installed mine with a DC Sports downpipe a few weeks ago and just this past week have really been questioning the fitment. It sits so tight against my carbon fiber heat shield that it has already melted off a small section. Additionally, my very back hanger is being pushed to the left side of the hanger stud in a very unnatural position. I found another members pictures and mine sits very similar, so I will use that picture for reference.
Example 1 - The red X indicates where mine is rubbing.

Example 2 - The bracket with the red X attached to the exhaust hanger seems to be too short. If I unhook my back hanger and push the exhaust to the right where it should be, it stretches the rubber hanger about two inches. So from this I get the impression the bracket (red X) is too short by an inch of two.

So, did I install this wrong/missing something or did I possibly get the JDM bumper version by mistake? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Joe

Joe,
There is a fair bit of adjustment in the system which is usually the issue, but there is always a small possibility that we did something wrong in the build process. Give me a call at your convenience and we'll sort it out and make sure you're completely taken care of one way or another. Thanks Joe!
