I know DSM's had replacement pieces for the J pipe and the only one replacing it on Evo's are the buschur race LICP and the FP race outlet pipe.

I run a modified FP 2" outlet pipe mated with work with your ETS v1 LICP coz I think that the ugly and restrictive piece off the turbo needs to go away...
Yup! - It's in the works!

Any update on the black couplers? Is the ETA still next Friday, or earlier?

The test car was already seriously maxed out on a stock turbo and on E85. The differences on gasoline would be far more evident since the more air that gets in the intercooler and the faster it can do it the less heat soak there is post intercooler.

I would surmise that on 92 or 93 the gains over a stock or competitor would be significantly more. Whatever the competitors increases are with what this did over that is more in the ball park IMHO. The 410 was leaving a little in reserve at that and the hottest of the 6 pulls done.

Just installed mine yesterday, awesome design simple and very happy! Waiting to get retuned as this is probably going to be the only new mod, definitely feel the difference.

Thanks to Mike@AWDMOTORSPORTS for having the part as always!

Michael - how does this pipe compare to the previous "extra short" LICP? https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=328370

Here are a couple differences between the last revision and the current LP2.
  • No Welds
  • 1.8" to 2.5" 45 Degree Funnel Silicone (Takes most of the bend in 2.5")
  • Average 2hp gain over the previous ETS LICP

Thanks,

Michael

keep me updated, please. I'd love to go to a full ETS setup rather than this bastardized FP/ETS setup...

We have the pipe built, I'm hoping to have it tested with dyno results later on this week or next week. I know we have a FP RED car on the dyno tomorrow.

Results will be posted up soon =)

Thanks,

Michael

I have a green, Michael. I am hoping it transitions to 2.5" pretty quick off the turbo and eliminates that mitsu ghetto piece altogether.

Is it a 1 piece or 2 piece? I have to take starter off to install my FP piece
