Updates with dyno sheets to follow.

Car went back to the dyno. We added a Magnus Cast intake, the ETS Magnus UICP and a ported head. At 21.3psi the car made 446whp on pump, 23.3 was 478whp, and 26psi was 510whp. Cams stayed the same with GSC S2s.

We also converted this car to speed density on the stock ECU and tested before and after with the MAF so we'd have good numbers. It seems dropping the MAF was worth an esay 12whp with no changes and with a slight retune (actually added more timing) we got it to the 510whp. More to come as we add racegas and crank the boost.

So here are the promised dyno sheets (all runs on 92 octane):

482whp was stock MAF and 3" pipe assembly, this was maxed out as far as timing for the boost that the customer wanted to run on the street (26 psi, but we could have gone more). 495 was the same exact tune just taking the whole pipe assembly off and dynoing it back to back.

510 was with retune and a normal 4" pipe and filter the next day:

To me it doesnt seem to be any better but its (3582) down on power at any given boost level with the 3" intake and obviously up with the 4". Then again I dont have a 4" intake or magnus right yet. I am going to add that as the final mods to my car before the 2.2 goes in so I have a back to back of every piece of data.

That intake pipe is for sale actually

Here are the finished pictures of the engine bay with the Magnus, ETS UICP, and ER 4" intake pipe:

Peak torque is 4* and peak power is 16*

Chris this is actually a customer car, mine makes a little more already on the stock 2.0

UPDATE for this Evo.

We added 1450s and a second pump to the mix and then tuned it on racegas (It has also been upgraded to a 3586). Since the car is uncaged we stopped about the level it should get booted for running without a 10 point. This was on Q16.

1450s and second pump were at 61% IDC at peak power, the runs are 31psi, 33psi, and 35psi. The thing I found kind of odd (I know Dave has mentioned this before) is that the car was down about 20whp from its last racegas 31psi pull. I started thinking about what could have changed in the tune and then it dawned on me to check how the car was loaded. I had it a little crooked and I think the alignment was off as well. It was probably more crooked than anything, but does 20whp scrub sound right?

Aaron -

That might be right, I was reading in article in dsport last night where they were switching wheels on a G35 and by going with a 10lb lighter wheel they picked up 5whp.

Those are great numbers though.
