We do have a titanium intake for the X I never snapped a pic of it though. The price is $399.00, it's the standard aluminum heat shield though. I can coat it black though. The titanium heat shield would be $$$

Titanium head shield for the turbo manifold.

Ti heat shield for the starter and a Ti heat shield for the PS pump.

You could also do Ti backing plates for brake pads.

Lol, you poking fun at me for wanting a small Ti heat shield?

ARC/Garage HRS & Monster both make full Ti heat shields for your IX.. they're really not priced that bad, either.

And thanks Michael.. didn't know you guys already made a Ti intake

I don't have a stock appearing turbo :P I'll make my own.

Titanium is a great insulator. we should use it for any and all heat shields.

A Miata Battery Tray and tell me if your short route uicp works on it (BTW does the short route uicp work with an AEM Intake and shield, since i've had it for years and like it) .... I'll get it in a snap like your LICP (awesome BTW) for the 8/9

Thanks

I'm pretty sure youll get interest on this if the price is competetive. Most hate the odessey batt and the discharge probs

Are you able to make an intake tune for the Cobb AP? I see there are AP maps for a bunch of other intakes, but not for the ETS.

^^ Good idea

I know ETS parts will work just fine without a tune, and a custom tune is ideal.. but it'd be really cool, and could maybe boost ETS sales (pun intended), if there were a few AP maps made specifically for the ETS line-up..

The difficult part about downpipes is that there are more than a few variations and more than a few of them do not work with other stock pieces. It is safe for ETS to invest in doing Cat-Backs because that part of the exhaust is pretty standard and safe to do.

Perhaps if ETS did a O2 + downpipe similar to what MAP and CBRD is doing in titanium it would work out.

I would like to see Ti used for more parts of the car that need a high thermal resistivity (heat shields, exhaust/intake components, etc.).
