Exactly. If you have it in writing as MSRP then you'll get charged MSRP. I don't work for a dealership but some people on here are really distrustful and pessimistic.

Talalhz,
I don't know what to say to you. I'm really not trying to BullSh!t anyone I wish I could tell you the MSRP. The GM said to me this morning its here and when he said that I freaked out. I did not have my car all cleaned up or anything because when they told me the end of September I was thinking yeah yeah i have heard so many times that is was on its way here and then only to be let down by them saying that it was delayed. After that i thought it was actually at the dealership today, but he explained that he was called this morning and told it was off of the boat already. I was like wow and asked where it was he said Georgia. So i then asked him for the MSRP and he said he did not know and of course i said how the hell can Mitsubishi send you a car tell you its here, and you not have an MSRP on the vehicle. (I said to myself is this a line of **** or does he really not know) He has never lied to me before so i was giving him the benefit of the doubt. He told me we will find out in 8-10 days or less. He said just get your car ready and get your financing ready so all you have to do is come in and sign the papers on the final agreement . I said if everything complies to what i have in writing we have a deal if not then I walk with my deposit back. He said we will take care of you no matter what. (he then said I want your business and all of your referrals from people that Work at Costco and customers that are thinking of buying a Mitsubishi) basically saying that i have referred many people to him and he did not want to loose my business or anyone elses for that matter.(he said that he wanted a customer for life not just a one time deal.) Well I am only being honest with everyone on this forum. We will see if I am let down or not but I'm not gonna argue with the GM especially when he has been so cooperative with me in the past. Even never gave me a hard time about all of the Buschur stuff i had on the car when it came in for warranty work. Like I said I don't want to burn a hook up or a person who has helped me out in the past. So I will be just waiting. AND TRUST ME ON THIS AS SOON AS I FIND OUT I WILL LET YOU KNOW AND EVERYONE ELSE.
Sorry this is so long just trying to explain everything and keep you all in the loop.
Derek

A) Start of a new week. Good time to throw out a press release.
B) Probably the last Monday before someone takes delivery of their car.
I've resigned myself to the fact that if MSRP isn't out next week, no one's going to know until they see the window sticker.
Sounds kinda weird. Shouldn't we West coast people get them first? We are closer to Japan. =) And why the heck it takes 8-10 days for truck to go from GA to FL??? I can drive from San Diego to Sacramento in 10 hours. =)

I agree that it sounds weird, because it sounds weird to me too. All I can say is why would the GM call me directly and tell me all of that just to give me a false statement that would only **** me off and make me not want to deal with them. Remember he wants to sell cars so why lead me on ? The only thing i can think of is maybe the truck is full of MR's,and has many dealerships to stop at on the way here to South Florida. When i recieved my 2003 Mitsubishi Evolution in August the truck was at the dealership and had like 6 evolutions on it some were scheduled to go to miami and some Ft. lauderdale and so fourth. The Gm also stated that when the car arrives it has to go through some sort of special inspection before it is released to me. I forgot what he called it. He stated that no one is to drive it either. Which means no joyrides by any salesmen or customers. So only time will tell and I hope for their sake that its 100% the truth because i'm getting really tired of delays and misguided information.
Derek
