Sweet man, glad you decided on the white MR, that is the color that my dad has on order. He has a 03 apex silver now but he likes my white 03 so much that he is going to get a white MR. Anyways, I'm glad to hear that it is almost here!!! That is very exciting. Keep us updated buddy!

Exclamation

At this point Mitsu and their assclown dealers are playing games. They will not release the MR until the HYPE is at it's highest, then a markup will come. They did the same thing in 03. I think this is more of a dealer issue than Mitsu. These ASSCLOWN dealers are looking for extra money for Christmas and you're the object of gouging. The car was already here in Aug. so they have it. If the VIN # shows up then the car is here.

My suggestion is to wait the Assclowns out. Next year you can get the MR below MSRP.

Good Luck

Remember he wants to sell cars so why lead me on ? The only thing i can think of is maybe the truck is full of MR's,and has many dealerships to stop at on the way here to South Florida. When i recieved my 2003 Mitsubishi Evolution in August the truck was at the dealership and had like 6 evolutions on it some were scheduled to go to miami and some Ft. lauderdale and so fourth. The Gm also stated that when the car arrives it has to go through some sort of special inspection before it is released to me. I forgot what he called it. He stated that no one is to drive it either. Which means no joyrides by any salesmen or customers. So only time will tell and I hope for their sake that its 100% the truth because i'm getting really tired of delays and misguided information.

Hey, I remember on the window sheet on my 03 that it said mine came in from Brunswick, Georgia. It got to Brunswick by boat, at least that is what the sticker said. I'm not really sure how they do all of that, but your story seems like it is true to me.

I agree.....I was quoted 10-14 days from estimated ship date for my MR to be at the dealer and mine has to go from the west coast all the way to Pennsylvania.

This is not to say that I think Derek is being messed with.........just relaying my situation.

eclipseqs2k1,

**** your right I just looked up my Window sticker on my 2003 which i had in my desk. It said BRUNSWICK,GA yes Thanks man that was a hell of a find on your part not to say I did not believe the GM but I was thinking why would it not come to the port here in FT. lauderdale. Thats where i thought my 2003 came from but when i looked at the window sticker it says GEORGIA. It also says method of Transport: TRUCK. You made my day now .

Twan,

My ship date was sept.10th. If it only took 10-14 days i would have had mine already.

Derek,

Glad I could help! I couldn't figure out why they came in through Georgia either, but the ones that come to the Southeast must enter there. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Well obviously that wasnt your real ship date. Just a date the dealer gave you?
Did you have a sheet from mitsu ( i have one, so do others, just forget the name of the sheet) that showed Sept10th as a ship date? Cause thats wayyyyy too early to be accurate. At any rate, no use arguing, its just that the closer this gets, the harder this gets!

I doubt it's making stops, actually. They would direct trucks to dealerships, not bring them in on a special edition truck that cruised the state.

You need to call them back today and get MSRP. I have never heard of a dealership GM that had an active pending delivery and didn't know the value of the vehicles. My guess is it's going to show up a bit higher than we think.

When I got my Subaru, I was the only one to drive it. In fact, I was allowed to back it off the truck and drive it to prep. Good service
