i'm all for the mr if i were you.. worth the wait, seeing how everyone and their mother has a wrx, and almost as many have a sti... ( only 1000 MRs are gonna be made ) so your gonna have a more desireable car. but if you can't wait and you want the subaru go ahead. i just think you should wait for the main reason that 1 ) the evo mr performs better, 2) it will be a 1/1000 chance you see another one driving around ( MR edition that is )... so i say wait for the MR... and idk how true my statement is but i believe the MR should hold its value better then the GSR evo, and even more then a subaru.. but thats my opinion i could be wrong....

just bought my 05 sti in aspen white with gold bbs wheels, with the short shifter package and upgraded alarm. 2miles on the car and out the door for 33000 even. I am very happy. My dealer told me the MR i was going to get is now five thousand over msrp. I still love the evo mr and my brother will have one, and i am not disappointed what so ever with my pick. Good luck to all you evo mr edition owners you will have rare badass car i just hope you get it for msrp. Will post pics in the future.

So what if u pay more for the MR, there is only like 1000 for sale. The MR will hold the value much better.
MR had much more potential!!!

Cant go wrong with either one.

But the STi out the door at $33G is $5G less than an MR!

Better value - congrats Evo8MR

Not concerned with resale value, dont plan on selling the car , I joined a imprezasti forum and theres not much hating on the competition.

Id rather have an 05sti then a 05rs or 05gsr, i couldnt buy that model knowing the best is really the MR, atleast for the sti has only one model...............Ill just drive my brothers car around when and if i feel that regret but as of right now im loving life..

i drove an new 05 Sti back to back w/ a used 03' EVO. I used to be a big subaru fan, but after the test drive EVO hands down. I can't imagine the 05' GSR being anything less than better.
