Is the only "1000" number real for the MR?

However, there is one plus side. I was cruising at around 90 on the Mitsubishi Motorway (road directly infront of the sea of cars) and i look at them and see 250-300 Evo MR's all with the little roof vortex generators and BBS wheels on them. That had to be the most beautiful thing i had ever seen. More are expected to be there, total number of about 550 will go to the east coast alone. This according to my friends dad, VP of General operations at the plant. Might go back tomorrow and take a picture of the Sea of evo's and show you guys.

I met the MR project manager at a SoCalEvo meet and he specifically said that 1000 is a theoretical production limit. Like any smart business though, he said they would increase production if there is demand.

I think the IX will be built on the same lancer platform. Just a guess.
