Interesting Information
as promised I'm back with the info.
The car looks and drives great. The Graphite Grey is stunning in person, and there's just a hint of "blue" to it, definitely wouldn't call it purple. Even my friend who dropped me off thought it was hot.
Picked up the car with 6 miles on the clock. Did a short test drive and came back with about 15.
I'm very impressed with the shifting of the trans, clutch has a bit of a "different" pickup point than I'm used to, but I'm sure I'll adapt. Didn't push it really hard yet, but the thing that stuck me the most was how compliant and driver friendly the shocks are. the speedbumps in the area where I live aren't nearly as bad as I feared. The car tracked really well on the road, but it did tend to follow the truck ruts in RTE167 on the way home. The engine pulls really strong even from moderately low RPM (much better than my rallycar which surprised me). Got the first "comment" from the boys in blue when I was swapping out my tails for my MR tails. They were older cops and they really had a lot of questions to ask about the car. They even helped me verify that all my lights and signals worked. They were the first cool cops I ran into out here, hope they remember that night the first time the pull me over... After that I put her to bed for the night. I can't believe that I'm going to say this, but I'm actually looking forward to getting up at 2:30am tomorrow to drive it to work. This is definitely a car that I'll be able to drive evey day. Absolutely no regrets here.
I know there's some #'s guys out there, but lets just say that I got it OTD for "less than 40k" even with a couple of dealer installed options.
