I was at HB Mitsubishi Today and saw three 05 GSR'S. The window sticker indicated 93% Japan and 2% US/Domestic parts content. I wonder what parts are US? They just came in. I was the lucky person to see one first.

 

What was window sticker for GSR and the MR ?

I did not pay that much attention to the sticker price, but i am pretty sure it was the expected 30,499.

I asked if they had a MR or RS and I was told they could have one there Tomorrow. I am guessing that the MR and RS are getting the port installed options.

 

yeah... i also find it odd that the ACD, front slip, bigger turbo, and whatever else only bumped the GSR price a measly 600 bucks.

I did look at the tires they were the same as last years. I really was interested in the RS, . The funny thing about this was when I walked into the show room and started asking about the 05'ers arrivial date the salesman acted a little nervous. Then I saw someone sitting in a black 04. guess they did not want this person to know that the 05'ers were there. I was in the service bay and noticed a silver EVO walked over to it and was very surprised it was a 05. When I left the dealership (after they reset my SES light)it looked like they wrapped up the deal on that that 04 black EVO. hope he got a good deal.

Yes, but the HIDs and fogs are gone from the base model. Those HIDs are approx $1200 each to replace. So don't get to excited about "only 600bux" more.

 

Hey zmeli, what part of victorville are you from? I live in apple valley. I saw a white evo about 3days ago getting off @ bear valley road, but the driver had a large CF spoiler (i think), was that you?

 

Who said anything about being excited with that information? That's actually WACK if you ask me. That means something was replaced with a cheaper part.

The GSR with leather is only $600 retail more than the '04. That means anywhere from $400-$500 on invoice.

If they HIDs are ~$1,200 to replace, that's good news for EVO owners and future EVO owners. What isn't good, I guess I didn't get my point across, is the fact that it's only $600 more for everything. "Everything" includes: ACD, front slip, bigger turbo, and anything else that was added to the '05s. The HIDs were there to begin with, so I'm not factoring that into the equation.

What I was trying to say before is that the new additions to the '05 GSR are worth far more than $600 RETAIL.

If you wanted to install an ACD system on an '03 or '04, how much you think it would cost?

Wait a second... they DID take off the sprayer too though... hmm... now my calculations are all screwed up.
