The color is the same as the rest of the world. The original translation of the color was "medium purplish gray metallic" from Japanese. In person it looks like a gunmetal gray. It is close to neutral but on the colder blue side. It is very hard to get the color right in photos. I tried at the Socal Meet and only one was decent.
If I had some of the original RFP Fuji slide film I think I could get it right. The color is very nice looking. I think it would look pretty sinister with MR style blacked-out headlights too.
This was my best photo just to show color. The wing is slightly darker gray metallic. The rest of the US MR colors have body color wing end plates.

i don't know for sure, but i think our gray is different from the euro one...like the guy said above, the euro gray is a gray mica... has a purplish tint up close like the '03 black evo. i think ours is a titanium pearl-like paint job similar to the eclipse's, but i could be wrong. maybe they just changed the name but no the paint job.

like i said....the MR here in socal the one that i saw in person for a good 3 hours...is grey with a hint of purplel...(not sure what they call the color here)..yes i know what the x42 looks like cus that is the color of my car...color is like nothing out there...especially not an eclipse...
