Does any one know if the USDM MR paint color "Graphite Gray Pearl" is exactly the same as the UK and the JDM Evolution MR.

I have photos of the USDM MR from the California meet and Mitsu web site, photos of the UK MR and photos of the JDM MR and all three paint colors look different.

I understand the lighting is all different - but I can't help but think they are different, with different names, etc.

Can anyone confirm this or provide additional info??

 

First, they're just the same car with a chopped color. For instance, all the press shots show a dark-colored spoiler on the MR, but it doesnt in the configurator.

Graphite Gray Pearl is the color for 05. For 04 however, was the Gray Mica, which I would've preferred hands down over Graphite Gray, because it had a color-shift tendency under certain lighting conditions.

 

So what is the answer to my question?> The color is different this year- but all three are the same???

 

i don't know for sure, but i think our gray is different from the euro one...like the guy said above, the euro gray is a gray mica... has a purplish tint up close like the '03 black evo. i think ours is a titanium pearl-like paint job similar to the eclipse's, but i could be wrong. maybe they just changed the name but no the paint job.

the MR grey that we have here in the UShas a purple tint to it...not sure if tis the same as the jdm or euro one but it does have a purplish tint to it

purple in the mr? thats pretty gay. i thought it would be the grey mica. now thats a disapointment for the mr.

 

trust me man...its not close to anything gay....it serioiusly is one of the sexiest colors outf i have ever seen in person...

 

purple = gay
might as well put a rainbow flag on it.
i would have to see it in person, or good picture to change my mind

i know the color is damn near sexy...i would love to paint my lancer that color...just wouldnt be right though

 

the mr looks good , i just dont dig that purple hue color. now that grey mica would be hot!
