I am picking my 05 RS up on Monday, and paid $27629 + tax, title, and registration. $29700 out the door with ct 6% sales tax.

 

why is everyone paying sticker (or close) for an RS? Hell i would think in about another 2 weeks a MR could be purchased for under sticker.

I doubt any magazines will do much testing of the RS since the changes were not that significant. All of the mags already tested the MR which was slightly better than the regular 2003 without the acd and front lsd.

 

Someone here is selling their Rs for 23 395 obo. 1200miles the car is not titled yet. Great deal.

 

I didn't pay sticker for mine. not even close. Sticker is $29094 for an 05 RS, and that includes destination charges. I was about 1300 under sticker.

What ended up getting stuck on the 05 RS? increased HP/TQ, front diff, alum roof, lightened rear deck? 10K miles on my 04 and I've fallen in love with crank windows again--seems getting all the new goodies in 05 would be worth it.

At most you should pay 300-500 over invoice on an RS. The rest is just profits into the dealers pockets.
