picked up MR today suggestions; comments

Please advise me any things to help or things you wish u did to the evo when its new, what I was really thinking about is

1) 3M clear bra - is it worth it and does it help alot, how does the front end paint on evos hold up to rock chips ect (ive read this can vary with color also)

2) Moving the back door stricker plates, ive read of people loosing paint on their doors from them sticking out to much from the sticker plates, is this common? how to check for it- doors seem to sit inline

Clear bra is well worth the money, IMHO. It was one of the first things I did.

Can't go wrong with a clear bra. I have a blue Evo and paint chips aren't very noticeable...Yet Yeah just take the time to break it in. Take a couple of road trips to rack up a thousand miles, then start hammering it Congrats on the new Ride.

He meant striker plates, which must be the plates on the door sills. Do they stick out enough to chip paint on the door?

Does mitsu offer the clear bra or do you need to go elsewhere? Just curious.

The first thing I got my Evo after 2 days of owning her was a turbo timer.

I will get a clear bra, then maybe a turbo timer or like on my truck an auto start alarm which can let the car run for 2 min, 5 min, or 10 min after i park. tint, but the first mod above all others for an 05 is to switch the radio w/ the gauge panels, so you can see them better.

Clear bra the hood and clear bra the entire bumper and wheel wells by the back wheels. That is what I would have done differently.
