Hi,

I really don't know how to compare that Dyno with the Dyno Dynamic Dyno but from what I can see they look very similar. Anyway, I was under the idea that the Dyno Dynamic was basicly one of the Dynos that reads the least.

Changing the subject, I use to be client of Dyno-Comp in Phoenix, I once took my car there(WRX) for tunning and I got 280.3 whp. The owner Richard Garcia showed me a binder with all the customers pulls and the average was:

215whp on the 03 EVO's (271hp)
215-220whp on the STI's (300hp)
155-160whp on the WRX (227hp)

My WRX drove in with 211whp that day and drove out with 280whp after the tunning and boost increase.

The botton line is that my new MR EVO feels as fast or faster than my 280whp WRX. I honestly think that your numbers are just OK, you should be able to get a few more HP whenver you get higher mileage.

So it's true, the EVO really does make closer to 300HP, although I always knew this from past dynos, wonder why Mitsubishi is so hesistant to just admit it, probably sell more cars?

I just wonder why you peak at 6000 rpm's (hp) while the motortrend car got peak at 6400.

i was just informed that the hp @ 50 doesn't really affect output. i guess it just made what it made.
