How can a good thing get better?
The Evolution IX is just around the corner and I just wanted to get some thoughts on improvements people would like to see on the new EVO? Which of these improvements is most important to you?

I think that eventually all of the evos will end up haveing 6 speeds. and it would be cool if it could be lighter but i would go more for the 6 speed

I would like to see more power (290 -310) plus a 6 speed for all models. Also it would be cool to have the gauges (boost, oil, EGT) built into the dash like the 3000GT.

Lower weight, cruise control and the freaking roof lowered by 2 inches ..... is me or is the freaking roof rediculously high, making the car look like a damn box .... I mean seriously the tallest person I have seen drive an EVO still has like approx 4 inches of clearance space from his head to the roof! I mean lower the roof would lower the CG and improve handling and make the car look soooooooooooo much better .....

That would be good as well as less weight and more power. Something around the 1360kg (2998lb) of the Evolution VI would be better (or even lighter if they can do it ) and around 250kw (330hp).

More power is always good, auto climate would be a huge plus and lighter wieght adn cruise control would be my 4 main impovements.

Id love to see the Evo IX get some more power, anything over 300. Plus it would be great to have all the Evos equiped with 6 speeds.

More power is great. boo on the 6 speed... I'll take my 5 speed all day... stronger transfer case. and definatly cruise controll.

yeah, what others have said...plus Lexus like dealer and warranty services that actually treat their customers like their mistresses rather than their in-laws
