That front end is just plain ugly. Looks too round and where is the intercooler?

Agreed. If the X looks anything like the picture there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I'm gonna buy the IX right before the X comes out, for sure.

All the new stuff coming out is way too futuristic for my taste....like the 2006 eclipse..its nice and all....but i dont like it.

Good, I'm glad this X is coming out, that way I can buy the IX brand new for cheaper in a few years. I hate that design and I can't imagine mitsu building anything like that. Especially the spoiler, it is hideous on the rally car and would be even worse on the production Evo. I think the spoiler is what really throws everything off. I mean, it looks like something bought out of a JCWhitney catalog for a 92 sunfire.

As an aside, anybody notice that Ford can't produce enough of the "AWD" 500s/derivatives ? THe orders for the AWD versions are around 25%, versus the anticipated 15%. Amazing what can be achieved exercising a little "artistic licence" in the sales blurb.
