SINCE the chances of the nine coming to the u.s. are pretty high, ive heard that people want to wait for the nine (those who dont have evos) and even trade in your current evo for the nine. i love my 8. so i dont think i would but i just want to see other peoples output

Nope, not enough "evolution" compare to the current Evo.

I rather wait and see the new Evolution X.

 

the IX won't be available in the us. anyway it is just the current evo with the mivec engine.

 

^^^^ and how would you know that, i dont think there are enoughs changes made to justify trading it in or waiting a year or two.

 

How can you say that? Did Mitsu call you to let you know the evo won't be comming to America? Come on. Anyway, thats what I'm waiting on is the IX. I don't want to X because I've had friends who've had the 4g63 motor and they swear by it. I just was variable valve timing.

Yes I am waiting for the IX. As of right now I dont have the money but hopefully once i get my bachelor's degree i'll be able to buy the last year of the Evo IX.

 

Hell..if I could buy one now, I would (I'll take mine in white, please). But I need to finish my degree first, which I will come May of this year. After that, it's saving-money-for-current-Evo time...

Can't wait to get done with school!!

people have been trading their 03's for an 05. so why not trade an evo VIII for an evo IX? anywho, im def waiting for the IX when it comes out. Cant wait.

Don't see what's so great about the IX. The X is where all the changes come into play.
