do u think it will be difficult to locate a used EVO VIII with under 20,000 miles or so??

 

I'd check Ebay but be careful......focus on dealers selling them versus private sellers.

 

if u do buy from ebay go and check out the car before u buy it unless the car has like less than 100 miles. Just my opinion though.

so it wont be that difficult locating an evo...theres a lot out there

 

also note i wont be buying until beginning of summer (mayish juneish)..if that makes a difference

If you get one from a dealer and under warranty you should be ok. If anything doesn't feel right make the dealer fix it prior to delivery.

I would never buy a used one myself....these cars get beat to **** and alot of yahoos overboost them.

 

Also, take the VIN # from the car and go to a dealership to check if the car that you are buying still has a warranty, if buying second hand with low miles...

 

i wouldnt buy a used sports car unless i knew the person well, or if they were very old.
i had a NIGHTMARE with a used 1990 Eclipse GSX. Dropped $7k on it with 33,000 miles.
Spent another $7k in a little over a year. Was fun though.
