All the information I find on the net indicates that there will be no Graphite Gray for the EVO IX. It looks like it will be the regular colors only: Black, White, Red, Silver, Blue, and Yellow. If this is true, then the MR Edition (Graphite Gray) will be some what of a collectors car in the future.

From what the early posters have said, there will be an RS, GT and GSR version. The GSR will be the current MR equivalent, and the GT will be the current GSR equivalent.

The GSR doesn't appear to have special colors for it. But I guess we'll find out all this in two months...

My super secret factory connection, whom shall remain nameless, has indicated to me that there will be a limited number of these cars available in a cameleon paint. It will be an ultra rare car, and cost the lives of a ship of 100 men at sea. They also said it would no come in graphite gray but instead black.

 

Let's wait and see the colors of the IX.

 

your source tells you wrong. each hand crafted car that is limited will be hand painted by none only that buddhist monks using rose petals and goats blood to mix a special color. this will be at the expense of not a ship of 100 men but a container filled with 20 camels and 4 squirrels.
