no not really, but thumbing through a site someone reposted earlier I found this:

the fronts looks somewhat similar, maybe mitsu decided to base the car off of some ugly body kit at the tokyo auto salon, note the hood even has the two vents

the evo IX was based on evo 7 body kits, so i wouldnt doubt that the X is based on a body kit

The look of the Evo X is really growing on me....expecially if it'll look the like the orange one.

It'll be ironic if the Evo X turns out to be the best performing Evo since the VI and everyone bashing it right now will want one
