when they showed concept pictures of the evo vii, a lot of people didnt like it either. a lot said that it looked too much like a family sedan, but when it came out, it looked awesome.

when they showed pictures of what was going to be the evo viii, i honestly could say i didnt like the triangular shape thing that mitsu was putting all over their cars. but when the evo viii came out, it looked fine and ive grown to like it. suprising how a few subtle changes can drastically alter someone's opinion, huh?

the evo x, in my opinion, is just that: a few subtle changes. exterior appearance, anyway. here i photoshopped the black piece to match the color of the car:

looks a little familiar, dunnit? i like how concept sketches cause people to say "thats fugly im never gonna buy that" but when the actual car pictures come out, and the car looks sizzlin' hot, they completely change their mind and actually consider trading in. lets just see what happens

this car is going to look hot. you can make all the assumptions you want about the drawings.. but when you see the car in person you wont be able to look at our outdated VIIIs anymore. Rarely do we ever see sports icons take a step back in the looks department, although i might take some time to get used to the new style. Im loving the headlights in that sketch.

I like that picture of the EVO. The STi isn't too bad either. Its always a shock once you firs see the new design, but that is probably not exactly how its going to look either. I bet the X is going to be a hot commodity when it comes out. By then everyone will be used to the new look.

I agree I think it will look good once it's available to the public. The headlights look sweet in that picture

that painted section makes it... period... now... apply a similar hood to what we have now, maybe add a naca duct on the driver side... and boom... instant seller... hell... i'd put a deposit down now if it came looking like that, plus, with some new and improved performance outta a GDI 2.0L Turbo and even further tweaked suspension

and that gunmetal with gold wheels on the STi looks hot... just not feeling the rest of the STi...

look how much better it's looking already with a simple change. now add some nice wheels, & suspension and you'll be on your knees!
