Dealers will accept their initial Evo IX allocations today. The cars are at the in the US awaiting final port modifications. They should ship to dealers within 2 weeks....hopefully earlier

Colors and specs are similar the the 05 VIIIs. A couple of minor changes. GG is a IX GSR color this year, and there is no yellow. There is a "zero lift kit" for the MR. The description is " Rear spoiler extention-Wickerbill, Front under air dam, Front brake air guides". HIDs are still part of the SS&L package only.

 

sweet news =D do you mean the gg which was only for mrs is now available for ixs as well? i like how mitsubishi always keeps inventing new ways to improve aerodynamics such as the kit you described such as the wickerbill (gurney flap) for the rear wing except i dont know what the front under air dam would be. do you know anything about the seating upholstery differences between the mr and the ix? any verification on whether both have leather/alcantara suede or is it for the mr exclusively?

Sweet, I'll take a GG MR with the zero lift kit. Do dealers have order sheets now? I don't want to just go and see if they are getting one I want and fight others for MSRP on it. I just want to order my own.

 

Are you sure the MR doesn't have HID's?

Read an Edmunds.com review of IX GSR and said MSRP is only going to be $500 more than the '05's. NOt sure if they got that info from Mitsu. or not though.

 

As far as I know, the suede will be all charcoal color and the same on GSRs and MRs

 

I know of a dealer taking orders at MSRP. You reserve the color you want

it's Huntington Beach Mitsubishi......of course Cali's gettin the IX's first. They are supposed to arrive on Oct 6th.
