I stopped enjoying my car as a daily driver after I took it to stage 1++ and had it lowered on C/O's with a CF Splitter that took a beating - very limited where I could drive the car
I had to take certain routes to avoid speed bumps and any other hurdles along the way. The tune and clutch was not bad; however, it was not as easy going as stock

Yeah, I'm almost positive it does.
As for the BMW and Mitsu discussion...
If I had a choice I think the Mitsu would be a better chance up here during year round use. Alaska

But for status I'd go with a BMW. Or an AMG of some sort.
I'm a mechanic...technician...whatever you want to call us nowadays. BMWs are NOT fun to fix. They are finnicky *******. That's the only reason I've stayed away from them. I may get one later on in life when I have a family and don't want to drive a stiffly sprung, high powered car everyday. But I guess it all depends on what you want. M3 is so much more a status symbol in my mind. EVO is just raw unadulterated, drive me fun, who cares what everyone else thinks.
Exactly what nightwalker said. On street, when those people who do not know much about cars, and they saw a BMW M3 across them, they would surely respect you more than you drive an Evo in front of them. Most of us are around or under age of 30 and would like more fun when driving the car.
Don't get me wrong, but M3 is a great car. M3 is just not what we want at this stage of our life. In addition, the price between Evo and M3 is somewhat another consideration in our mind when we choosing cars. Money are hard to earn in these days, you know what I mean?
