Saw a Evo 9 MR today in person........
I saw a Evo 9 MR today in person at our local dealership in Ofallon, IL. I originally requested a brochure on the Mits. website for the MR thinking I wouldn't see one around here for a while. When I returned home today, it was a message from the dealership in ref. to the brochure which I was somewhat confused as to why they would be calling me. Everytime I had stopped by in the past and inquired, the sales guys would be clueless as to what I was talking about and said they ussually don't get the Evo unless special order.
The salesmen told me they had a MR on the showroom, so out the door I went. I arrived and there it was
Graphite Grey, leather seats with alcantera inserts, etc. It was stickered at $36,000+, no markup and they were willing to go below sticker. I told him I wasn't quite ready yet mainly becasue I want wicked white. But the grey looks good in person.
They were ready to deal and asked what would it take for me to take the car right then and there. So anyone here in the area that might frequent this site ready for one. Go to Auffenberg Mits. in Ofallon, IL. They have a Graphite Grey with 8 miles on it and will sell under sticker.
The Evo 9 is sweet looking in person.
Also, weirdly I recieved a call from a special agent a week ago, and he told me they found my car in a abandon building aprox. 15 miles from me stripped and half the motor gone.
So, now I guess I will buy another one in a couple of months. I thought for sure the car would be found states away or never found

Me too at my local dealership it's nice but I wish the intercooler lined up correctly it just erks me why the Mitsu engineers could not get it correct. But I think its the only thing I can fault it for.

that could be just the evo nine.. the mr doesnt have leather seats.... ??? ???
EvoLoverForever, It was a MR. MR was on the rear of the car and was also equipped with BBS wheels and leather seats with alcantera inserts in front
And I had no trade, they were willing to deal especially after seeing how knowledgable I was about the car. So it will be a great deal for someone if they go in and show some experience.

Had the Silver MR
I saw 2 at white plains mitsubishi. They have a red one and a silver MR. Plus they have a silver IX as well. Unfortunately, the 2 MR's are already sold. By the way, one Mitsubishi customer was looking at another Mitsubishi car (I think Montero) so the salesman had to move the red MR. The car looked and sounded awesome but the salesman clearly didn't know how to drive the car. He was busy revving up the motor, missing reverse (put in another gear and grinded it to reverse. Too bad for the MR and who ever gets the car.
