There is no 2007 Evo IX in Japan. This is the JDM equivalent of our Evo IX SE. Its called the "Last Edition". They are already completely sold out in Japan.

but i guess they will not hold back on the skyline, but because of the way they market these cars in US, Nissan might have a tough time sellin and 80K car with the name Nissan and not Infinity. Time will tell, they might sell a thousand of them but at 80 K a whack, thats 80mil.

OK, OK 2000 units, thats a more respectable 160 million,..

a year
they are trying to make it on the same level as the porshce thats why its going to cost so much but its gonna be a beast of a car

I hope they don't bring it over here. If the Evo IX was only available here for one year, it might keep the resale value up a little. It would be nice to be able to say that they ONLY made the Evo IX for ONE year, and I have one. I don't see too many other Evo's on the road, and I rarely see another Evo IX. It's nice to be one of the few.

Besides, we can hit eBay for any JDM upgrades which may be useful.

Why they didn't incluse the S-AYC in the US models? HOw much more that feature would've increased the price tag? $5000?

This is because the Japaneses consider us to be savages who are only worthy of their leavings and refuse. The list goes like this Westerners, rodents, Chinese, dogs, Koreans, Japanese, God.

Of course they'll have a hard time selling, Really the only people to buy this kind of car are going to be the people who know about this kind of car. Look at evo and sti's now. Really the only people you see driving them, are people who know about them. People who know the power, know their ability and put them to the test. Well most kids and younger adults, will not be able to afford you 80k GTR, therefore the only people that will be driving this bad boy will be your rich, your m3 and audi guys who step up, and yea thats pretty much it. it will remain a showroom car for a long time.
