How long will the IX be available?
I plan on keeping it stock for a little. Depending on how good of a job i get out of college will dictate weather I can get another car for my dd(cruiser) and mod the evo earlier on, OR, if I have to use the evo as my dd. But long range, i would hope to put a gt35 on it and make 500-600 awhp. However, im sure I could settle with making 330whp with the basic upgrades and stock turbo for a few years.
i had the same dilema, i couldnt wait so i traded in my 03 LY evo 8 for a GG ix last week. Didnt really want to have such a big loan but i couldnt wait unfortunately...good luck
Teg Fan, since you seem to not worry about traveling to get your Evo, you may want to contact Southcost Mitsubishi and monitor their inventory. When I bought my IX from them they had over 60 Evo's in stock at there three locations.

wow, I hope there are some mitsu dealerships over here that are that big. I am willing to travel to get it but i'd probably have to rethink haulin to ca. Seems like It's pretty hard to find SE's on autotrader or anywhere else for that matter
There aren't kyle, it sucks, i honestly considered flying out to cali and driving one back. When i called around 3 of the 4 dealers in the area had between 5-6 in stock. Mostly IX's. Most had 1 MR, 1 SE, and 1 MR SE. All in black.
if you search a little more you'll see that the reason the IX's aren't here for 07 is the new side impact airbag law they passed here to take place in january
Kyle, call some dealers in the cleveland/ohio area, i wish i would have before i bought mine. Might have had more of a color selection, but i do love my tarmac black
