Guys, I just think this is going to showcase the new low pressure turbo and NA versions of the lancer.

I'm thinking they'll throw the concept evolution on a stage for the hundreth time. We'll likely see the real Evolution when Tokyo has its next show.

Slowride, I know it'll be a 2.0L engine because it's already been announced. The 4B11 is a 2.0L powerplant, with no direct injection at this time. This of course leaves room for the 2.4L engine down the road.
Also, the dual clutch shifter is an option, with a 5 speed as standard equipment according to info. leaked earlier at MOD'06.

According to Mitsu. this is 'Prototype X' not Concept X, that was shown last year in Tokyo and gives a more accurate representation of what we'll see in showrooms in Mar. '08.

Come out from under that rock man. MMC annouced eons ago that new Evo X will be a 2.0L 4B11 DOHC MIVEC.

Also in regards to the 2.0L in the Evo, Mitsu would like to keep the car legal for Group N (is that what they're still calling it nowadays?) production based rally cars (unlike the special-built WRC cars) where the current generation car is still quite competetive. I belive those cars are still capped @ 2.0L. If I am wrong though, please correct me.
