Mitsubishi Navigation System???
Speed sensor should be easier to "trick" into allowing you to watch a dvd...
And said magazine was right, I'm looking at getting a TL Type-S Acura and its navigation (and voice recognition) work perfectly for me, where you hit on the screen is just right, I think Car and Driver's car's screen was dirty.

No. It does not have text to speech like the Garmins. It does a better job at letting you know where you have to turn and when you should be turning though. I have a Garmin StreetPilot 340 that i compared it against. My Garmin has a more updated map though. I wonder how long before they release the update DVD for the Lancer's system.

I simply built a PC in my Evo for much much less, that the posted 2,300. It has GPS Navigation, Traffic monitoring, DVD Playback, mp3 player, rear view camera, ECU monitor and tunning, and RADIO, and Surround sound.
are you sure it's ripping them into CDA format? The available disk space would run out way before you hit 1200 songs...
It's really disappointing to find out I cannot copy mp3s from CD onto the HDD in the head unit. Kind of makes that extra HDD space moot and makes the iPod a valid accessory again...
