Is the X better looking than the IX or VIII?
All you X'ers, here's the REAL deal:

However, I don't want an Audi, I want an EVO. Get a clue, Mitsubishi.

I vote the evo X.....evo VIII dont resemble any evo V/ VI agressiveness...its a total ubergay madness. BTW, who the hell buys an evo MR is a complete rifoff. it doesnt have an SAYC, just an ACD. they just got gooked by Mitsu-USA.
I cant make my decision on the X until I actually see the full production version in person. So far though, I think the frond end is excellent, interior looks like a huge improvement (but then again this is still concept so who knows if those sweet recaros will carry over), the rear well that doesnt look all too well. The tail lights remind me of these ricer idiots that molded similar tails at that angle on a civic
And then theres that automated manual, transmissions like this are the future whether we like to admit it or not. Regular manual transmissions will probably be fazed out eventually. That being said the tranny sounds good on paper, probably will have some sort of launch control, but how well can
build a tranny of that sort? I'd imagine some sort of recalls , once it comes out. Also how will it handle power upgrades? But also now we'll finally get all the active differentials, suspension, etc that everyone else gets. Truthfully, the X sounds like the first REAL Evo to land on US soil. The previous offerings seem to be neutered versions of the real thing, lacking some of the key components that the rest of the world gets.
But , dont get me wrong, the IX is still my favorite (especially with the real IX rear end), but I think when the X is officially released, it might take its place.

I think the Evo X looks better. Kinda like how people complained about the way E92 looked as opposed to the E46. But compare them side by side, and the newer model always seem to blow away the older ones and makes them look outdated.
Wow I cant believe that you think that the fat lard actually looks better than the X. I can understand that some ppl may prefer the style of the CT9A, but the eclipse is just hideous.
Please don’t be mad. The reality is for the one who already have Evo 8 & 9. You wouldn’t say anything bad about Evo 8 & 9 because it’s your car. That can really mess with your head and might end up buying a New one. I don’t own an Evo yet because I’m waiting for X and I can easily say I like Evo 8 & 9, But I am more likely to buy X. why? 1) Because it’s newer. 2) New design. 3) More airbags (lancer has 7, so I wonder how many on evo? LOL).
