It all depends on what you like , not everyone likes the same think. Make ur mind up and get what u like. I personally like the look of IX , I went to Detroit auto show and saw the X and made my mind right on the spot. Good luck with ur choice.

 

Did you not read my post? I own the IX because I like it, NOT I like it because I own the IX. I just bought my IX. I was considering of waiting for the X but when I found out what it looked like, I actually said this, "I NEED TO HURRY AND GET THE IX BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE." Kid you not. There you go. Your claim that I somehow am biased because I own a IX is dead wrong. Next.

 

Not surprised to hear this. That is EXACTLY why I bought my IX a few months ago. See, I'm not the only crazy SOB out there for making my decision the way I did. I agree with SCC magazine: the IX MR will be a collector's car in a few decades. Too bad I'll enjoy it too much for it to last that long. Life's too short to give your kids all the fun!!!

If you bought it cause you like 9 then good FOR YOU but why do you insist on portraying hate towards the X then? You say it looks like a wannabe audi and stuff. Who cares what it looks like. The Evo is not about looks. It is about performance. As for me I will choose the faster one. From the little that I know I am pretty sure that the Evo X will be the fastest Evo ever.

The Evo X is the best looking Evo in my opinion. The only opinion that should matter to you is you own opinion. I don't care if the Evo looks like an Audi, Volvo, Acura, and a Lexus. Something will always look like something. Deal with it.

There is no point in arguing if the basis of your argument is based around an opinion. Opinions are not fact, so they mean nothing.

One thing i do know is that if people compare the X to an audi or lexus what does that tell u? It tells me that its a dam good looking car! Ask yourself this would drive an Audi or a Lexus I know i would. Alot of cars look like other cars . But u cant base anything on a concept car this should have never been posted yet the x final design isnt even out yet! Its like asking who is hotter Ms. january2006 or Ms. october 2008 welllllllllllll whos hotter its all a matter of taste and u havent even seen one of the women yet! But we all know that the X will out perform the IX it not fiction its a FACT. Mitsu isnt going to make a new EVO thats isnt an upgrade from the last gen u know it I know it HELL everybody knows that that is the truth. I love every EVO ever made there alll sweet in there own design

Well a lot of people do. Nobody's going to buy a Pontiac Aztec even if it has 300hp. Likewise, I CHOOSE to buy a IX rather than the X. Get over it. Of course my OPINION is not fact. But look at the poll results. There are more beholders of eyes that think the VIII and IX look better. Not fact but better than some of your OPINIONS that's for sure.

IF one cannot see that the X follows the lines of an EVO then you my friend are BLIND. IT might look a bit more futuristic but the future is HERE. Aggressive front, 4 doors, big wing, fender flares, big brakes, still TURBOED i dont get how it isn't an EVO.
