Has anyone put a deposit down for a X at your local dealer?

My friend out in west palm beach placed a deposit for his car i saw one yesterday in florida not a evo regular lancer look good dou.

 

Not that I know of and I would rather see the car in person first before I throw down the cash

 

deposit for what?

every dealers will have the X.... its not gonna be sold out on the 1st day

 

why put deposit on vapor?

They were doing the whole "Deposit thing" when the EVO first came out.. I never did it.. I saw the truck pulling into a dealer one day (their first shipment), walked in with a nice fat check, and drove out in my brand new EVO.. The first one to be sold at that dealer.. So deposits mean nothing..

 

yeah how much mark up?

 

I put my name in for 1 of 3 being released in Feb. for my area.

 

They had a 10K markup on it.. They wanted $40,812.00.. I was there wrestling all day and ended up paying 2K over sticker.. Yeah I know (suckered) but I wanted it, and got it.. Salesman got a good commission off me.. Big deal.. Won't happen again I can promise that.. Hahaha.

 

deposit already? wow, i wouldn't have the guts to put a deposit on it until i actually see it in person.

 

I'm seriously thinking about selling my 9 mr se and putting a deposit down.

 

No deposit, Evo X it look too good,

I keep my ugly VIII thats almost paid for that will blow all 4 doors off that nice looking X and just as ugly IX

Wow I did not know dealers are taking deposits yet on the X. I thought about it and its tempting but I think I will hang on to my Evo8. Soon I working on paying mine off so I can be debt free. Then instad of paying a note each month I can use that same money for upgrades to an Evo thats oayed off in full.
Reducing dept is my plan but I will admit I love the way the new EvoX looks. Very hot.
