New photos of EVO X and STi around Nurburgring
The new STI is disgusting, sorry a hatchback might help out in rally and maybe even world sales, but a hatchback won't sell in the states. Sorry but how anybody can say the Subaru designers win is a complete tool and should be banned for life.
Please help me to understand what the f*ck is so sexy about this sh*t-

What it has quad exhaust exits, oh wow didn't know this website was filled with a bunch of ricers. Sorry I'd admit the EVO X isn't looking the greatest in the spy shots, but sorry nothing is impressive about the STI what so ever

I went by my local mitsubishi store to look at the new lancers, and i must say they definetly look better in person, a volvo s40 front with a lexus is350 rear, which i already am a big fan of. Dont get me wrong, I love the way evo IXs look, but it definetly is time for a new look. anyways i picked up the brochure or what have you that is supposed to be for the lancer, in the book it has articles from several magazines about the new EVO X.
In one of the articles there is an intersting part about the new engine that will be on the X. We all know that the reason Mitsubishi has stayed with a 2.0 liter car is because the WRC mandates that the engines must be at or below that sized engine. Mitsu has been thinking about getting into the wrc again with their new Evo X, that is why they kept a 2.0 in there. But what I found most interesting in the article is that the WRC will most likely raise the liter amount of the engines to somewhere around 2.5 liters. In the article they said the Mitsu in a few years with the X might make changes or put a different engine to fit with the new rules.
what that says to me is that if the wrc makes these changes then it will allow Mitsu to fix or improve any problems that they may incur with the 4b11 or replace it all together. I would defiently be a big fan of more displacement, more power any way you can get it. I know certain things would have to fall in line for this to happen, but i'm sure mitsu would like to add any power to this car where they can too. sorry if this is a repost.

Hatch STI is lame, just another girl's car. I don't get how or why people like 5 door hatchbacks as performance cars. WTF. Adding doors doesn't make the vehicle more sporty, it's stupid how people will believe that just because the automaker says it is. What's next Subaru Minivan with STI badging. I think STI would have been much better if they left it a 4 door or made it into a 2door atleast.
2.5 liters. Interesting. I'm waiting for the Sportback Evo, but I may have to wait for the larger motor, as well. I don't know. I'm not sold on the X yet. I wish I had more money to spend on something better. I won't be in the market for a new car for another 2-3 years. I'm positive that the other manufacturers will have some interesting offerings by then. Only time will tell.
