New photos of EVO X and STi around Nurburgring

"Arm your intercoolers, the showdown between the new Mitsubishi EVO X and Subaru WRX STi is almost at hand. KGP Photography recently nabbed both cars doing testing at the famous Nurburgring in Germany, and they are each shaping up to be beasts compared to their pedestrian counterparts. Though Subaru decided to be different and go with a five-door hatchback form, the hump in the back doesn't detract from what the large fenders, deep chin spoiler and gaping maw of an air intake are trying to accomplish. And seriously, can matte black be an available color choice?
The EVO X, meanwhile, has a face that perfectly frames its intercooler in the front bumper for all to see. Add to that a giant rear wing on the trunk and larger multi-spoke wheels, and again it's clear that this car is ready to take up the torch.
Both cars will be all-wheel drive, both will have 300 or more horsepower and both are waiting impatiently to tear the other apart in a decent comparison test. Until then, we give you these galleries to do battle with.

It's funny that so many like the STI here, when so few on the STI boards like it. Personally, I think the new STI is a misproportioned blob of a car. And that body roll is horrendous. It lifts both inside tires at certain points during the corner. Unless they get that under control, the Evo X is going to eat the STI for lunch on the track. I hate to say that, being a Subaru fan, but there's the evidence right there.
Doubt that. I can't see Mitsu shooting itself in the foot by making the Ralliart (a.k.a. GSX) look identical to the Evo. They'll loose a lot of their potential Evo sales to the Ralliart since most people just want the image of the Evo.
This picture is widely regarded as the Ralliart in disguise:

If you look, there are no fender flares, and the front fascia is shaped like the base lancer instead of the Evo. The picture in the OP is of the Evo X. Though I'm kinda speculating that it might be the MR. But that's not based on any real info, just the rims and different brembo color.
